- 180ml almond milk
- 120ml unsweetened tart cherry juice (I get mine from Commonsense organics)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (the real stuff not flavouring)
- 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder (withania somnifera) – if you can’t find some I have in stock
- dried culinary rose petals (optional) – or you can dry your own
Heat almond milk and tart cherry juice over low heat in a small pot. Remove from heat, and whisk in maple syrup and ashwagandha. (If you want to make it really frothy, you can add it to a blender). Top with rose petals and drink warm. Also perfect for sleep.
