Best Ever Chocolate – decadent but oh so worth it!

250g Cacao butter pieces

250g almond, cashew or macadamia nut paste

100g maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla essence

60g cacao powder

1/2 tsp salt

150 – 200 g roughly chopped roasted nuts and or cranberries, roasted pepitas, flaked coconut

Melt cacao butter over low heat

Add nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cacao and salt

Stir until well blended and smooth

Add nuts, fruits and coconut and blend through

Pour into a lined baking tray and spread out evenly

Place in freezer for 20 – 30 minutes until set

Cut into pieces and Enjoy! I have made this with the following variations: crushed honeycomb pieces, a mixture of roasted nuts, Glacéed ginger and macadamia pieces, Glacéed cherries and flaked coconut, Marshmallows as rocky road.
