Sunday 01/09/2019 – 3 places available
Ayurveda and Yoga helps you to find your true nature to control the mind and intellect and lead a healthy life. Spring is the king of seasons in Ayurveda. This is the end season of Kapha Dosha (water and earth elements) where we may feel heavier than usual, congested, foggy and stiff. It is also the start time of Pitta Dosha (water and fire elements). It’s the perfect time of year to ignite your inner fire to move, stretch, breathe deeply and warm up.
12:45-1pm – Welcome chai and introduction
1-2:30pm – Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practitioner Robyn Mourie will chat about spring body cleansing rituals. After analysing your current body type Dosha we will move into a workshop of making your own Ayurvedic skincare. We will be using luscious herbs and spices including rose bud powder, turmeric, aloe vera, and calendula for individual face packs.
2:30-3pm – Afternoon tea of Ayurvedic teas and nibbles.
3-4:30pm – Taken by Wendy Reynolds, Nidra/Meditation Yoga Instructor. Like the spring shoots nudging their way into the light, we too need to gently nudge our nervous system out of hibernation mode towards the Spring season when we naturally tend towards new ideas and plans. Find a settled ground from which you can expand into the new growth through journaling contemplation. This will be followed by a grounding Nidra meditation practice.
4:30-5pm – Final discussion and collection of all your skincare take-home goodies.
$105pp – All materials and afternoon tea provided.
Please register your interest now by emailing email@example.com – and we will send you payment details. Please note, if you do purchase a retreat and are no longer able to attend, you are welcome to offer your place to a friend or colleague in your stead (as we are not able to offer a refund). We will try and fill the space for you though. 🙂
