Sunday 01/09/2019 – At Saffron Cottage
Ayurveda and Yoga helps you to find your true nature to control the mind and intellect and lead a healthy life. Spring is the king of seasons in Ayurveda. This is the season of Kapha Dosha (water and earth elements) where we may feel heavier than usual, congested, foggy and stiff. It’s the perfect time of year to ignite your inner fire to move, stretch, breathe deeply and warm up.
10:30-12:30 Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practitioner Robyn Mourie will chat about spring body cleansing rituals including dry brushing or Udvartana. Mix up a personalised herbal mix for cellulite busting body massage. Take away notes, exfoliating glove and herbal mix.
12:30-1pm Sit by the warm fire and enjoy an Ayurvedic lunch and teas
1-3pm Taken by Wendy Reynolds, Nidra/Meditation Yoga Instructor. Like the spring shoots nudging their way into the light, we too need to gently nudge our nervous system out of hibernation mode towards the Spring season when we naturally tend towards new ideas and plans. Find a settled ground from which you can expand into new growth.
